Carnival/pool party Themed Ice Cream Cake

I made a whipped frosting with cream cheese and almond extract, it tasted pretty awesome!

80's colors penguin cake

This cake was a little girl turning 9.  She loves to dance and I guess she likes penguins too :-)  So her mom wanted a penguin with a tutu.  The birthday girl was also doing a dance performance and the main dance has the girls wearing the "80's" florescent glasses, also know as the "Kanye West" glasses for the younger generations, lol.  So hence the glasses all over the cake :-) 

The cake is an ice cream cake with vanilla cake and cookies and cream ice cream.  I actually added neon colors to the vanilla cake so it was a neon rainbow cake when they cut into it. 

I didn't really think of it when I was doing the letters, I forgot to punch out the holes in some of the letter...I don't know what I was thinking!
