Massage Table Cake (kinda NSFW?)

This cake is probably my favorite so far.  It was the second time I have ever used fondant to cover a cake, and I had a blast making the man.  Everything about the cake was good, the way it tasted, looked, the TIME it took (which wasn't long compared to many other cakes I've made), even the way it sliced!  Only regret...I didn't get a nice platter or flat sheet to put the cake on :-( It was for my cousin so...oh well i guess!

I made modeling chocolate with peanut butter melting chips and covered rice crispy treats with it for the man.  I made chocolate cake with homemade strawberry whipped icing for the filling (it's always a huge hit)  It tasted sooo good!  It was a really big cake, I made two full sheet cakes then cut them in 1/4th's.  I needed to make it long and skinny to get realistic proportions for the table.  I loved the fondant for this because I wanted it to look like a sheet over a table, so I didn't need it to look flat, just "fall where it may".  The man IS...."biologically" correct underneath the sheet, just over proportioned, lol!  Anyway, everyone loved it!  Everyone wanted a piece of the man, he actually tasted amazing!

Turkey Cake Pops!

These turkey pops are some of the hardest and most time consuming of all cake pops, but they are the cutest! Well...I'm torn between the turkey and witches for Halloween.  They are both adorable.  What do you think?

Anyway, obviously I used candy corn for the feathers. I like to use the regular ones instead of the caramel candy corn (has a brown end instead of yellow).  Plus, it's hard to get the caramel candy corn, because it's only available in the fall, and you have to buy a mixed bag. The regular ones stand out more and are much more colorful.

The head is a chocolate covered almond, but I've used caramel squares before, which I prefer, because they also stand out better and are brighter against the chocolate candy coating.  The nose and red thingy also stick better to the caramel square.

The beak is a mini candy coated chocolate chip, the red dangley thing (whatever you call it, lol) are jumbo heart sprinkles, and pretzels for the legs.  Like I said they are time consuming, but worth it! They are also HUGE.
